Year 9 Rounders Team Win 2 out of 2!

Huge congratulations to the Year 9 rounders team who represented Arrow Vale in the Kinglsey league on tuesday after school. The first match was against North Bromsgove and was a comfortable win for Arrow Vale. The second match was against kingsley. After the first innings the scores were level so there was all too play for in the second innings. Arrow Vale batted first and scored 5 rounders thanks to some big hitting from Jenny Challinor and Holly Solway. Kingsley batted second and only managed to score 4 rounders due to some excellent fielding from player of the match Jade Hay which meant that Arrow Vale won this close contest by 1 rounder. A big thankyou to all those who played - Beth Vincent (captain), Toni Hudson, Kate Racki, Helen Racki, Jenny Challinor, Katie Hunt, Jade Hay, Holly Solway.

Year 11 Netball Result

The Year 11 Netball team played in the Kingsley League on tuesday after school. They faced Trinity in the first match and won comfortably due to some excellent passing by Beth Thomas and Ellie Hunter Wiggins through the middle of the court. The second match was against St Benedicts from Alcester who were a much tougher opposition. The girls won the first half but were outplayed in the second half and lost 7 - 12. Congratulations to the whole team who were Katie Wardman (Captain), Danni Morgan, Beth Thomas, Ellie Hunter-Wiggins, Louise Hillman, Leanne Llewelyn and Chloe Hutchison.

Vale Rumble on to 4 Straight Wins!

The Year 10 Football Team played North Bromsgrove on Wednesday 19th March away. The boys passed the ball very well and dominated possession for long periods. A spectacular effort (cross!) from Tom Mitic put Vale in the lead. In the second half we fell asleep and North managed a goal with their first shot. The game was settled by a crisp half volley from Josh O'Hare. Man of the Match was Adam playing at right back.
