Educational Maintenance Allowances (EMAs) are available to all 16-18 year olds in England starting Further Education.

The national scheme awards payments of up to £30 per week to students for attendance at College. Household income must be less than £30,810 per annum to be eligible.

From time to time, you may also qualify for bonus payments. If your learning program lasts over two years, these payments could be up worth up to £500.

Students in receipt of EMA must follow the College’s absence procedures in order to ensure weekly payments are made.
